Santa in the Sanctuary at Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary in Lilburn

Officially a Wildlife Santuary, Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary has a mission to provide education to our community on the importance of caring for wildlife and their natural habitats. Familes can enjoy the mile-long trail seeing both native and exotic animals. They offer a glow of holiday lights, smores roasting and Santa visits! Reservations are highly recommended!

When: December 1-18th and the 23rd , Every Friday- Sunday from 6-8:30 pm

Zoo Atlanta in Atlanta

Zoo Atlanta is a must-visit when visiting Atlanta and Santa is visiting too! Bring the little ones for a personal visit with Santa and a professional photo. In addition to a photo with Santa, you’ll take a To-Go Kit to enjoy warm cocoa, cookies, and crafts at home! In addition, live caroler’s will be singing and mascot friends will be happy to take some photos with the little ones

When: December 3 and 4th, Limited timed reservations are available from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Atlanta Botanical Gardens

A gem in the middle of Atlanta, The Atlanta Botanical Garden offers nature-inspired fun for the whole family. Visit the magical plant collections and exhibitions and stroll through the Children's Garden with your little ones. The Garden( and the pictures) are absolutely gorgeous!

When: From November-January the 12th annual holiday extravaganza dazzles the Garden nightly with millions of brilliantly-colored LED lights and displays. They also offer many holiday events including 

• Holiday Model Trains - November 12, 2022 - January 14, 2023
• Garden Lights, Holiday Nights presented by Invesco QQQ- November 29 @ 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
• Holiday Ride-on Train- Select Saturdays & Sundays- All aboard the Botanical Express for a trip around the Great Lawn. $5 per passenger, $3 for members.
• Botanical Saint Nick- Saturdays, Nov 26 – Dec 17: Bring your camera and tell all of your holiday wishes to the big guy clad in green.
• Carols in the Garden- December 3, 10 & 17: Enjoy festive holiday music sung by Atlanta's premiere carolers, the Tinseltones.

The Georgia Aquarium - Walking in a Winter Waterland

The magic of the holidays is at Georgia Aquarium during Winter Waterland! They offer holiday music, winter inspired projections, a water fountain display and a 40-foot live tree! In mid-November, experience the Christmas tree lighting. All season enjoy the 4-D theatre featuring Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer story and The Polar Express. At midday you may find Santa Scuba diving with the fishies! And of coarse, pictures with Santa on select days!
